This is old news (via the SBRJ cover story earlier this week) but we thought it worth mentioning. Our good buddy, Nathan Focht (from Commerce V3 – a local e-commerce company and member of ATDC Savannah) is going cross country.
And, I’d just like to say: Dude. Nathan, I salute you.
Kinda crazy…
Nathan is taking his wife, three young children (aged 2, 4 and 8), mother-in-law, and two dogs (including a 220-pound English mastiff) on the road. And by “on the road”, I mean ON THE ROAD. Across the country. In a 40-foot RV.
That’s a whole lotta family…and like his business partner, we think he might be nuts. But to be fair, we’ve always thought that.
Kinda cool…
Still, we’re sorta jealous that he gets to ride across the country in a pimped-out RV.
The motor home is equipped with portable satellite Internet service, and a booster antenna on the RV makes it the equivalent of a mobile cell phone tower.
Cool…we want one.
We’re also glad and proud to hear that a local bank (BankSouth) has gone the extra mile to make sure Nathan’s hard-earned dollars stay in Savannah.
