About us

The blog…

We hope “relocated thinking” will be our little smart, thought provoking, news providing space on the web, providing relevant, intelligent information on Savannah and the surrounding area that will inform you, make you laugh, make you cry and hopefully, if we do our job right will once in awhile make you think and go “hmmm.”

We also are counting on our readers to get engaged. We want your opinion, your voice on things we talk about.

And, at the end of the day, we’re doing this because we love Savannah and we want to spread the love. We love its quirky people, unique entrepreneurs, courageous city ventures, music, arts, entertainment, yummy food, and its tolerance. So put on your reading (and commenting) hat and take her for a spin.

The org…

The Creative Coast Alliance (TCCa) is a non-profit organization that attracts, nurtures, and promotes brain-based business in Savannah. Our job is to make it easy for you to get in, get setup, get connected and be successful in this cool coastal city. We’re all about relationships. We’re a public/private partnership created by city, county and technology leaders in 2003. We are chartered by the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA), the City of Savannah, the Chatham County Commission and closely allied with a whole host of other organizations.

TCCi’s follicularly challenged Project Manager is a native Savannahian who never grows tired of the city’s enduring quirkiness. He’s our number cruncher, web developer, and master debater. A steadfast dedication to practicality is how he keeps the many TCCi ventures sustainable. He keeps an eye-open for the new treasures that pop up in Savannah and his finger on the pulse of technology. In his spare time he enjoys reading books that don’t suck, enjoying a refreshing cocktail, and honing his OCD.

A galley slave to pen and ink, TCCa has recruited Summer’s written flair to the blogsphere. She suffers from Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS), explaining why she can’t sit still. Summer is hip on sustainability – an eco-diva looking to spike the movement and style the message. As the co-founder of GreenDrinks Savannah she married her two best friends: cocktails and environmental conversation. In her spare time, she pursues various community outreach projects and neighborhood organizing and enjoys political banter, Vietnamese cuisine and fostering pets (ruff). Her motto: Put on your red shoes and dance the blues.
