Ah, my first time. While Fitz has been off hard at work, making Savannah a more creative place to live, his poor blog has gotten a little lonely. It needed a little TLC, some Summer love. So here I am, the newest addition to the TCCa team, poised and ready to help Fitz and TCCa keep you guys informed of what all the cool kids are doing move over butter.
Now, to the topic at hand.
It happened one night at Pinkie’s (I know, I know). Amidst the smoke and diehards I discovered our beloved Chris Miller and his gregarious Swedish entourage. Not long into my gin and tonic he introduced me to Kayne Lanahan, a bombshell of coolness, who splits her time between Savannah and NYC.

Nietzsche once said “Without music life would be a mistake.” Kayne evidently took those sentiments to heart when she cast off her royal robes as Senior Vice President at News Corporation (20th Century Fox, Fox News, etc.) to start her own music-lovers website. TheMusicFile.com is the product of years of fine listening, club hopping and festival surfing in efforts to find the newest gig or the next big thing in musicland. In doing what he does best – enticing creative people and companies to the coast – Chris is busily encouraging her to trade the Manhattan digs in for full-time Savannah living. I am a huge proponent as well because, frankly, I think I’m in love.
