Digital Roar, a game development company TCCa and SEDA have been working with (while virtual, they list their location as “Savannah, GA”) has just let us in on a little secret: They have just released the first playable demo for their inaugural title, “Ascension War: Triumvirate” (AWT) and they are inviting community feedback.
Since they are incorporated in Savannah, we thought we’d give them a little help.

The demo is in its early alpha stages and Digital Roar is actively soliciting community feedback as it continues development. AWT is a multiplayer online space shooter in which players take the roles of pilots from one of three warring factions.
Digital Roar Studios is a small independent developer, and as we said, someone we’ve been talking to for awhile. They’d like to land in Savannah officially, and we’re doing our best to make that next move a more certain one. Currently functioning as a virtual studio with team members spread across the country, Digital Roars designers, artists, and programmers pool their experience from the gaming industry, government, and academia.
So, welcome Digital Roar (virtually) to the Creative Coast and give their demo a spin. It looks fun from here!

I read about your game in Infinite Unity3D on Facebook.
And here my feedback;
# You may use a little low light for the environment. It is space and may seem more darkness, and by that little light particules which are in space will shown better.
# You may make the mouse harder to move.
# Better sound for weapons
Happy to write comments for your great work =)
Hey Farkow, thanks for your comments. We’re definitely still tweaking everything you mentioned: lighting, controls, and sound.
Regarding light, I know we plan to push the light particles you mentioned a bit further (but I don’t think we’re gonna go nuts with lens flares like in the recent Star Trek film though :)
I agree that the controls are still a bit springy, and the foley needs some love. I’ll make sure to share your comments with all the DR folks.
As we address feedback, we’ll periodically update the online demo and make announcements on our Facebook page and other social networks as we do.
Thanks again for your comments!

Any plans to support Linux? It would not only open up your market a little more, it would also give you some street cred with the geeks who matter most ;-)
I will surely follow your updates =)
Thanks for your response.
@Lucas
We would love to support Linux. Unity has expressed interest in going to Linux, but there is no indication as to when. I do know that making the Unity web player Linux compatible is at the top of the Unity community’s wish list. (http://feedback.unity3d.com/forums/15792-unity) Hopefully sooner than later!
One cool thing about Unity though, is Linux not withstanding, we can deploy to pretty much any platform from PC, Mac, PS3, Wii, and Xbox, to mobile platforms like iPhone, iPad, Android
@Farkow
No problem!
